"Clock" Position

He would have meant 10 o'clock position facing the aircraft, so the blade is
up on the passenger side for hand propping purposes.

*-------------------------------------------------------------------------*G'day from Down Under guys !
Just got back from the Avalon Airshow ( it's supposed to be the 4th
biggest airshow in the world ... according to the organisers) ... VERY
impressive... and LOUD !
(still can't believe that such small looking engines on those F15's &
16's can make so much noise ... ouch !)
Had a ball.... got to meet Ian Donaldson & family (great people) and to
have a sticky at his 912S powered Rebel. (which is truly a utility
aircraft ... Ian's even beefier than me !)
I was "cleaning out" my old e-mails , and I came across one from Bruce
regarding propeller positioning ....
Bruce said that when he moved the prop to the 10 o'clock most of the
vibration disappeared. The trouble is, is the 10 o'clock position when
you are looking at the front of the propeller or the back?
