Here's a website to play around with to size and space
your panel layout. It has templates for various Murphy
panels.

Hi Mike
I think mine are on 2 1/2" centres. BobP
and others suggest adding a
peice of angle aluminum to the bottom of
your panel for added stiffness and
to instal your controls. This also leaves
room for 2 full rows of 3 1/8"
instruments. I wish I'd done this as I don't
have room for the DG I'd need
if I ever wanted to equip my plane for night
flying. Also my panel flexes a
bit when using my controls.

Hi:

I cut my carrythroughs in half as indicated in the manual. I've seen a few
rebels and I also asked BOB P. AND HE SAID. Put the cut carrythrough under
the panel to install your controls. I did this and it works well.

GOOD LUCK
Murray Cherkas
