Heads up on newer SR3500 kits - My elevator has the v-notch in the skin
already widened to prevent the interferance problem - I was laying it out
and thinking about which way to address the issue when I noticed that the
gusset has a smaller v-notch and didn't line up with the skin - An e-mail
to Brian @ MAM and he is sending out the correct gussett - Nice

3500 Elevator Mods
Heads up on the 3500 Elevator in the V section - This is for the Elevator
Skins that are prepunched at MAM to eliminate the interference problem -
There are two incorrect dimensions in the update manual.
1) The two ribs that are cut to allow the V ribs must be cut back closer
than shown in the update manual to prevent interference with the V ribs
(almost to within 1/4" of the final hole on the cutoff ribs).
2) The diagonal EL450 ribs that follow the new prepunched holes need to
connect to the spar 1-3/8" inboard from the second rib, not the 1-5/8"
stated in the update manual -
