Ski Flying

After flying to our cottage last Friday and landing beside the cottage
on the lake in about 8' of windblown powder on a beautiful sunny day
with the temperature about -5C, I can now vouch 100% for Wayne's full
penetration wheel skis. Have been flying the skis since November but
usually to snowless runways and they have worked perfectly. Friday was
the first time I had the chance to land in unbroken conditions where all
I had to concern myself with was the direction of the wind. Fantastic!
Same feeling one gets when flying floats. Hope to get a few more days in
before we head to Australia to visit our son. Had hoped to get to see
Rick & Wendy again but he will be going through Melbourne on his way to
Perth about a month after we return to Canada & we won't be going to
Sydney on this trip. When we get back it will hopefully be time to rig
up my new 1800 amphibs so I can enjoy the type of flying that Walter
enjoys year round.
