Moose transponder

Rick,
The SL70 has a self test mode. It tests about a dozen functions, about half
the functions are in failure mode. They are recv, trans, sync, hv, 8 v, and
45v. The installation manual does not define the faults. I plan to call the
avionics shop on Monday.

Any ideas as to why the transponder "blew"? What do you mean by "blew"?
Etc.?there an internal fuse that protects the overal assembly? Etc.? Etc.?
Please let us know of your troubleshooting and diagnosis.
