Aileron deflection / Elite

Post by Ralph Baker » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:37 pm

We have the flaps and flap mechanism installed. The paired aileron horns on the left contact the flap push pull tube in "up aileron" position and don't seem to allow enough travel. The horns are installed pointing forward as per picture from MAM CD, not to rear as printed instructions. (If rear mounted they would hit rear wing attach). All this is with flaps reflexed and 1/2" space between mixer arm and top of mixer arm retainer slot.

Before I drill out 3/16 SS rivets and reposition inner aileron horn, can anyone supply required up and down aileron deflections required for flight measured from neutral aileron position? Neutral defined as flat rear bottom aileron section in the same plane with flat section of wing bottom. We can't find it in either printed or our CD information.
Thanks,
Ralph Baker

Best to you all for the Holidays!
