At the request of one of our list members, I have set up a new mailing list
for owners of flying Rebels.
Our builders list is becoming fairly active now, we currently have 109
members, and while I hope many of those who have completed their Rebel
project already will continue to share their experience with those still
working, I agree that there needs to be a place to discuss life after the
garage.
As always, everyone is invited to participate in the new mailing list, but
let's remember, the primary purpose for the new list is discussion for
completed Rebel owners, not initial construction topics.
To join, send an e-mail to:
list-server@dcsol.com
subject may be left blank
on first line of message starting all the way to the left, enter:
join flying-rebels
or
digest flying-rebels
Digest just sends you one message a day, with all messages posted that day
in it. That's it. To leave the list, you would again send a message to:
list-server@dcsol.com but in the message put:
leave flying-rebels
I'm looking into the possibility of constructing the lists as follows:
building-rebels < for initial construction discussion
flying-rebels < for completed project discussion
murphy-rebels < as a "Super-List" that would contain all posts to both
"building-rebels" and "flying-rebels"
As I said, I'm looking into this, I'm not sure how (if) this would work yet.
For instance, if you subscribe to the "Super-List" and post a message about
construction, where does it go. As I get more specifics about the
possibilities, I'll let everyone know.
For now... If you've got a completed Rebel, join our new discussion group:
flying-rebels@dcsol.com
