wingtip installation

Hi Don,
We created screw removable wingtips for our Elite using nutplates. It required some additional sheet metal boxing and a whole bunch of extra work. Reason was access to the tip mounted strobe power supplies. It is done now but if was a "do over" I would opt for rivets. You can save some time an error by drilling the holes first to #40 with the tip off and then using a strap duplicator (hole finder) to spot the tip drill locations. After all the #40 are drilled and the tip is clecoed on you can final drill knowing the hole locations are correct. That worked fine for us locating the nutplates.
