I just came across the following which, though pertains to the Yak, may be of interest.
Good luck,

As regards prop vibes and balancing, I created the following web page
for everyone's benefit.
http://home.earthlink.net/~yak52driver/balance.html
It goes into detail on balancing props and gives as an example the data
collected when my own prop was balanced. The graphs depict before and
after data as well as data collected throughout the RPM range used for
balancing the prop. I hope it helps!
ENJOY!

PS There is some excellent wording by Dennis Savarese as well.......
Bruce, I follow the Yak List. I am using an M-14 in my Moose same as the Yak.I'll have to stop in and make an appointment to have my prop dynamically balanced. I don't know what else it could be but and I think it should not have as much vibration as it does.
