Elevator mod for SR

I have heard murmurings about this for a while but wasn't sure if it applied
to just the Moose or 3500 upgrade to the SR, or exactly what was being
described, but now I have seen with my own eyes that the elevator, if built
per the manual for any one of these planes will not fit where it's supposed
to go. You can't slide it back far enough due to the "V" hitting the rear
spar of the vertical stabilizer. You need to take the two ribs that form
the "V" and bend them about 1 3/8 inches back from where the "V" originally
ended, creating a four inch wide rectangular section that will fit around
the vertical stabilizer rear spar.
