Countersinking discussion

Thanks to all for your comments.

I tried 100* dimpling and pulling some rivets in scrap material, they look
fine. Looks like I'll just go ahead and use the 100* tools I already have.
Maybe 120* tools will go on the Christmas wish list :)!!

I only paid about $5. for the 120* dimpler that is pulled by a rivet
puller.

A concern might be that the avex cs rivets are weaker in tension than
the protruding head rivets. I am wondering if using a 100* dimpler might
end up further weakening the rivet in tension. When a countersunk rivet
in a dimpled hole starts to fail in shear, it also applies tension to
the head. Some folks refuse to use them at all for that reason, after
seeing some of the heads pop off. Just a thought.
