Orillia Fly-in

If any of you local SR, Elite and/or Rebel builders want to see some in
person I just returned from the Orillia (Ontario, Canada) "splash in". There
are currently 3 Rebels over there (2 on Amphibs being Jack and Les's) and
Ron Hamson's on wheels but I don't think he is staying the night unless
weather makes him (that's why I got out of there early this afternoon and
flew home in a light shower in very ugly skies, but now looks like it's
clearing again). Also Eric Knechtel's "baby beaver" SR2500 (the original
M14P x SR machine!) is over there with Eric and Everette sitting under the
wing willing to talk and share the experience. Bob is supposed to be over
there, but hadn't arrived by the time I left at 1PM. Maybe he will show by
6PM or so, as that is apparently lunch time for BOB!! :>):>)

I'm told tomorrow is just a wrap up of the Seaplane AGM, so if you want to
view these aircraft get over there early and don't expect lunch to be
available.

Cheers,
Wayne

I won't be there today, but might fly up tomorrow .....

I got up before the <crack of noon>, but mutilated my foot, so,
by the time I got back from the doctor and the drugstore, it's just
toooo late - and anyway, it might be a bit painful at the moment !
The weather is really looking bad at the moment anyway.

Sorry I've missed it - sounds like a good crowd ! Hope there
will be a few left if I make it in the morning ...

Sorry to hear you're self mutilating again!

Weather is clearing out at the current time, but very gusty and with our
weather the last week or so I know that likely means a good "boomer" is
likely coming down Lake Huron.

Peter Muehlegg told me that if there was enough demand they would be serving
breakfast, but I wouldn't count on it!
