landing gear fairings

Just FYI
Used .020 to wrap around legs, made the bend at the front and joined at the back with a V shaped angle. Cut so that there was a 3/8" gap at the top. Bought some garage door weather strip. It has a real good angle in the rubber, cut it to fit around the top and attached it with a 1/2" wide strap. Strap, seal, fairing.1 1/2" rivet spacing.
I screwed the fairing on for ease of removal if I ever want to check the bolts. Like our adviser Bob said I also put channels behind and in front of the leg gear for more support. 2 days latter it looks pretty good.
Good Luck
