Hi Bob

Can you tell us why he has decided to make the switch from a Glastar to a
Rebel. To hear them talk, they make it sound like the Glastar was the great
hope for homebuilders. I have a friend who obviously thinks the Rebel is
for
the lower class types or whatever.

Be nice to have some ammunition to counter his superiority complex re:
Glastar
vs. Rebel. PS He is a very nice guy just slightly misguided in his choice
of
airplanes.

In reply to Bob Foti's Glastar for sale, I don't think he would rather have
a
Rebel but that he would rather build a Rebel. His issue is that the Glastar
must be built by 2 people rather than one person which is adequate for a
large
portion of the Rebel. However, as we all know, there are many times when 2
people are a must for the Rebel as well if you want to do a quality job or
for
simply moving wings, rotating fuselages etc.

Bob F. says that you cannot compare the Glastar to the Rebel as the Glastar
is
much better than the Rebel. That is his opinion which we must respect.

It is interesting that the Glastar appears to Bob as a long build time
because
they advertise such a short build time.
