Thanks to all for the information on tools and reference material. It is this kind of support and prompt response that led me to choose the Murphy Rebel. I look forward to the project and hopefully meeting many of you.

Welcome Trevor:

I bought the MAM supplied deluxe tool kit. There was very little I neede after this. I didn't need any more cleco's although at times I had to watch where I put them But I had enough. I've built my tail, wings and fuselodge and am now installing elevator and rudder. The thing I use the most is a pair of removeable vises from my work bench. As I have a carpenter background of course I had these. The kind of vise that you put a 2"x5" piece of plywwod in the jaws so to speak.
The other tools mentioned no doubt would come in handy. Just start building and you will discover what you need. You certainly will not go broke picking up the odd thing to make life easier.
Good luck
