I'd be delighted to hear about the "Australian Rebel Ramble"
- in fact, I'd LOVE to fly on one with you !!!!! :-)

One of these years !! We're active glider pilots, too, so
a trip 'down under' has been on The Wish List for years, as has that
Goas (?) Flying tour of OZ ......
Bob,

I am also a glider pilot (CFIG) and will be retired from 33 yrs as a
chemistry instructor come next June. A trip to OZ as a glider pilot has been
on my mind for years. Oh and I'll be fly'n a SR by then too.
Count me in.

Sounds like Rick should start getting ready for an invasion
of Rebel Ramblers !!

But first ....

Glad your SR will be ready for next summer - we're planning
a BIG ONE for next year (being the hundredth anniversay of flight
and all ...) -

Rebel Ramble '03 will be 'dipping a toe in both oceans' !!
The plan is to head out to the west coast in early July, fly 'n camping,
to Arlington, and maybe Cicely, Alaska again, and back for Oshkosh.
In mid August, we head East, to dip a toe in the Atlantic - likely
to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and maybe P.E.Island ...

Hoping we can get a LOT of Rebels, Supers, and ANYTHING else
that flies, to join us for this one !! The Rambles have been getting
more enjoyable for the last 10 years, and this looks like the best
one yet !!

There !!! That's the "extra motivation" for all of you
who are working away on your Rebels - get the flying, and
Come On Along on The Trip Of a Lifetime !!! ;-) :-) :-)

.....bobp

PS
"Get them FLYING - a homebuilt is never 'finished' " !!! ;-)

(You'll have a lifetime to add the details ....
but get out As Soon As Possible and ENJOY LIFE !!! )

G'day Don

Gliding here is spectacular, and we have schools that cater for
international pilots. They are hugely popular with the Japanese.
They say the soaring is magnificent.
