O-320 Engine availability

In case anyone is getting close and looking for a freshly overhauled O-320 x
150HP in the near future, there will be another one coming available from
Leavens in the next couple months (or sooner if necessary!). I just sold the
O-320-E that they had, last week to Ralph Knight up in Edmonton, and they
now have an O-320-A2B (wide deck) in the works. It is currently a conical
mount but can be changed to a dynafocal mount if desired, if the buyer
advises before reassembly begins so that the case can be sent out to machine
the new mounting locations on the case.
I don't have a firm price at this time, but the starting point (for me to
haggle from on your behalf) looks like the same as the last one, $21,500Cdn.
This includes light weight skytec starter, mini alternator kit, new plugs,
rebuilt mags and carb, as well as new mag harnesses. The O-320-E3D that ATC
had on tap has also been sold and I don't think John has anything else in
the "pipe".
If anyone is interested please send me an e-mail off line and I will do my
best to haggle you a good deal. I just saved Ralph $2G's on his and although
I can't guarantee that again I'll sure try on your behalf!!. Leavens seems
eager to deal through me as it saves them chasing down all the "dead ends"
and that leaves them with nothing to do but concentrate on building a good
engine (and that inturn allows them to let them go a little cheaper!!).
