The bible for sizing wire is AC43-13 1b. That is an FAA publication
"Acceptable Methods Of alteration and Repair" (as best I can remember).

is a wealth of information generally and has wire drop tables. You can
neglect the return path resistance if you are using the aircraft

and are careful to get good grounds. Allowable drops vary depending on
whether a load is constant or intermittent (less than 1 minute) Run

without any intermediate splices and use a "latched" crimper which will

release until the proper force is applied. Ideal makes one that is
reasonable by aircraft standards. Do not use NAPA terminals. Spend the
money for aircraft quality from a manufacturer such as AMP or Ideal.

I am also using the AeroFlash units and there is an amp rating for each
lamp. Don't forget to switch the strobes separately so you can turn them
off in the clouds at night. You will have to check the total on each
circuit and the circuit footage for each to select the wire size.
