Stringers/water retention

OK Wayne, now you have thrown the barroom chair, no fair running outside to
watch. We have sealed and completed our wings and with extended fuel and
rib baffles cannot inspect to confirm there is no root rib/stringer dam.
There are several courses of action which I can see as follows:
1- Do nothing
2- Add an additional sump drain on each side to the "lake" area. This
could be done externally without
opening the tank.
3- Cut the bottom tank skin and create a root rib/stringer water passage
or drill several small holes through the stringer web at the
bottom.
4- Add a small header tank to catch water at the low point on each side
behind each door. I believe we
will need sump drains there in any case and can confirm once the gear
is on.
Which of these do you think is best? Any other ideas for a fix? As a
related concern, how much of a problem are drilled rivet (shop) heads and
the small amount of drill cuttings that will result from any fix? I will
wet cloth, magnet search, and vacuum clean but there is no way to get it
all.
Anyone with other ideas, don't be bashful - chime in. I can't be the only
one affected.
