Broken rivet mandrel

Hi Jeff !

No problem at all ! If you're happy with the rivet, just
cut the mandrel as low as you can, and grind or file it down flush.

If you have a lot of these, they might be a bad batch, and
you might want to replace them....

PS
I haven't been getting mail from the list for several
days either - is it quiet, or did a bunch of us get dropped ???

Hi Bob

I am still here. I have been looking to chat with you a bit but have not
seen you out pounding the taxiways etc.

Dear Bob,

Many thanks for your reply. I find these tank rivets to be a fascinating
exercise.

Both Rob and I in Fairbanks had many tank rivets break off midway as you
describe. We just cut them off.
