Hi Murray, I see that you just put your floor in permanently. I have had mine
fitted (except the seat rails) for a couple of months. Did you run in to any
trouble areas or things I should be careful of? I have so much to do that I
decided to wait as long as I could before closing the floor up.

Hello Scott:

No problems.
While fitting the corner wraps I cut off the excess on the pilots side. This
did not leave enough to have the wrap continue under the seat rail. On the
passenger side I did however leave enough to have the corner wrap, wrap
under the seat rail. Don't think this is a major issue.

I did buy extra channel from MAM to beef up under the seat rails.

I'll measure to let you know where I put the seat rails.( distance from
carrythrough's and from side)

You may want to run your gas lines before installing the wraps. Take a look
to see where you are going here.
Was at MAM last week talking to Robbin. He said it may be a good idea to put
the gascolator in the middle behind the seats. You run your gas lines down
behind the door, across the floor to the centre, install a tee and mount the
gascolatorat the low point, then run the fuel line up the middle. Robbins'
thinking is that with the gascolator here it is away from the heat of the
exhaust and engine and may reduce the chance of vapor lock.( Like on a hot
day when you shut down for a coffee, get back in and you have to coax it to
start) To do this you will have to build a little fairing in the bottom to
protect the gascolator which will protrude below the bottom skin.
