Hi All :
After 40 years of flying general aviation aircraft I am convinced the Rebel in one of the best all around airplanes ever designed. So all of you who are still building keep at it, it's worth it. This morning under a clear calm blue sky that you could see for a 150 miles I did a max performance climb to Alt with my Rebel. From brake release at sea level I climbed to 10800 feet in 8 min 15 sec. for a average of 1309 feet per min. I was still climbing at just over 1000 feet per min at 11,000 feet. I took a photo of MT Baker which is located about 25 miles south of the Murphy factory in level flight at 10800 feet crusing at 148 mph pulling 19 inch MP at 2500 RPM burning 6.2 GPH.The photo is located under the Rebel Misc section.

I need to get those floats finished!!

Steve,
Thanks for the color photo. I've been through the Rebel Manual
I just got, twice now, and I still can't find any color pictures.
Truly inspirational!

Geez, Steve, I didn't realize you and your plane were almost in my back yard. I am just north of the border at Langley which is about 30 miles west of the Murphy factory. If you will be at Arlington this summer, I sure would like to see what you did to your Rebel. It certainly is a real performer.
