SR-Lower tail wrap FUS-422
Posted: Fri Feb 17, 2012 9:39 pm
Hi everyone!
I know a bunch of you have already gone past this point on your SR's, but I
have uploaded 4 pictures of how to clamp the lower wrap in place to allow
you the freedom of drilling from inside with an angle drill (or dremel with
90* adapter) without the fight trying to hold it tight while you drill. You
can back drill from the inside, using the pilot holes in the side panel,
from the rear stab attach bulkhead forward. The holes from the rear bulkhead
back need to be done with a strap duplicator (or good guessing/measuring).
Another place where the <LACK> of predrilled pilot holes would be nice!!!
Just hit "new files" and the 4 will come up! I accidentally uploaded the
first one to Brampton meeting notes!
MIKE can you please transfer that one to SR - Fuselage, or if necessary
delete and I will re-upload! Also note that hitting return does allow the
entire "long description" to all make it to the files!
Regards,
Wayne G. O'Shea
