Rebelheads:
I was reading ahead (amazing, huh!) this evening and came to the part in
Fuselage Assembly (29/06/98), Chapter 12 page 16 (below step 66), where a
note that says "The float hard points should now be installed as in Chapter
15".
I went to Chapter 15, but it is the bungee gear installation (Slide Tube
Assembly, Axle Install, Drag Strut Brace, Landing Gear Covering, Bungee Cord
Installation and Brake Disk Installation). I couldn't find anything on Float
Hard Points. I did a search on the Newsgroup archives for a mention, but no
joy!
What is your take on this. I am stumped as to where the float hard point
installation is mentioned. Am I missing something here or did I overLQQK
something?
Thanks for any input.

Terry:
Yes there is a page or so detailing the float hard points( attach fittings).
Also I think it is a good idea to install the second bulkhead even though
this seems to be an option.
Wayne has some pics on this. I think it's in wray's construction
pictures.Wayne also suggests to bolt the bulkheads and fitting together
rather than rivet.
If you can't find this info let me know.
Good luck

I am going to do every mod that pops up in this area. Appreciate the
reminder of the bolts instead of rivets there too.
Thanks for the heads up!

Rebel Float Hard Points
The second bulkhead is NOT an option. It MUST be installed to put the float
hard point in. Also, no disrespect to anyone but you are crazy if you don't
install the hard points while you're building, even if you live in the
Sahara. It adds value to your plane and also strengthens the airframe!
