Can't respond to question #2, but I have put my pully's on the inside. Went very easy. They were originally on the outside and I switched them. I have not installed rudder cables so I can't completely claim victory here. But, yes there was email on the subject. By the way, I plugged the holes with some snap in's I found at the local hardware store for plugging holes.

Subject: Re: seats
Thanks to everyones' input on seats in the SR. Based on that input, I'm
leaning toward using at least MAM's seat base. Before I go further, I
want
to check out the weight of a few car seats to see how much penalty there
is
with this option. A friend of mine had to replace a seat in his VW and
said it was surprisingly lightweight. My understanding is that in recent
years, car makers have taken a lot of weight out wherever possible to meet
mileage minimums. If I find anything, I'll pass it on.
Two other questions for SR builders:
1. I think I remember someone talking about installing the rudder pulleys
on the inside of the firewall instead of the engine side. Are there any
interference problems or other changes required to do this?
2. Does anyone plan on, or has installed electric flaps in their SR.
Pros
and cons?
