If anyone IS looking for car seats... we have a pair of green leather
seats - each weighs 20 pounds. This is the seat frames, cushions and
leather covering - no base. We bought for our SR but decided they are too
heavy to use. The seat dimensions are virtually identical to MAM bucket
seats - these seats are sturdier. $125.00 USD for the pair plus shipping.

What was Temperfoam has now been renamed ConForfoam thanks to the
efforts of the Swedish mattress people. It is also available from Jim
Fix at FixProps. One comment to pass on from him: Put the foam in a
muslin covering before covering it in turn with the upholstery.

My rudder pulleys are on the inside. Works great. No interference. I
can't figure out why MAM puts them on the hot side of the firewall. Doesn't
make sense. With access panels they are just as easy to inspect and replace
if necessary.

and cons?

Can't respond to question #2, but I have put my pully's on the inside. Went very easy. They were originally on the outside and I switched them. I have not installed rudder cables so I can't completely claim victory here. But, yes there was email on the subject. By the way, I plugged the holes with some snap in's I found at the local hardware store for plugging holes.

Check www.chassisshop.com for the same style with the airline style rotary buckle. Inertia reels are tough to find but sometimes airline surplus places have them.

into. On the accessory page there are mounting brackets. How did you
know how much they weight?

These seats look good. Be sure to check out the flammability of the fabrics
and foams. It's unlikely that there will ever be a fire but some fabrics and
foams are very toxic when burning.

Hi all,
Building seats these days. The instructions are getting worse as I go on. Do the seat backs have the aluminum skin put on the back side or is riveted to the front side of the frame.
