skiis

greetings group and happy new year. It's finally snowed in southern ont and
once again I'm wishing I had as set of skiis for my rebel. The prices of
skiis are way more than I can justify to she who controlls the check book
so I'll have to build them myself. I've been looking at the welded tubing
and plastic bottom skiis that avid aircraft makes and I'm thinking that
they are something that I could copy fairly easily. What I'd like to ask is
has anyone in this group ever seen a set of these skiis and what is your
opinion of them? Or do you have any other suggestions on how I can get my
plane skiing reasonably cheaply?
Thanks Drew Dalgleish
