I have two sets of tubing that came with the kit. Since I bought it from
another builder, some of the identification marks are missing. One set is
Parker Parflex NR-4-035 1/4" OD with .035" wall thickness. It looks like it
would be the high pressure brake line, but it does not fit well with the brass
fittings (it does not tighten up well). The other line is Poly 1/4" OD x .17
ID 048643-025585. It fits well in the brass fittings but is more flexible and
feels like the working pressure would be less. Neither have any other
markings or pressure limits. Have any of you used these hoses from MAM on the
brake lines from the cylinders to the discs?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Sorry for the delayed responses, but got back from my Mom's Saturday
midnight and have spent the last 3 days <finding> and clearing 3+ feet of
snow off of our 1400+ foot laneway. Sure wish the lake would freeze over and
put an end to the lake squall effect. Got my skis installed on my Rebel this
morning and squeezed in my annual New Years Day flight before the snow
started again (0.8hr is better than nothing!!!). I had almost forgot just
how much fun landing on everything white is!!!

As for the brake line, Scott, you should be using the Parker Parflex x
.035. I don't know what the other line is for, but it may have been supplied
to feed from the reservoir to the inlet on the brake pedal cylinders (or
just something the previous owner picked up to run a wire through, etc). I
use 1/4" rubber for the reservoir to cylinder feed, but anything will do as
no pressure in the lines on that side of the system!

The fittings should be hand tightened and then about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn.
