Hi All,

Curently trying to figure out the best way to install
my fuel sender. It's a Rochester Gauge sender/gauge
combination, 0-90 Ohms. I'm going to have to bend the
arm/trim back on the sender to make it fit.

Here's my question: Does anyone know if the 1/2 tank
indication is calibrated to be 45 Ohms (1/2 of 90)? Or
does it vary by manufacturer? I assume it is, but
doesn't seem to work out right when I attach my
Voltmeter and play with it.

Maybe I should call Rochester and find out.

Why not connect the thing up to a battery and see if it reads correctly?
I have played with car senders that had fairly loose tolerances and that
were a long way from linear, so I don't think you can necessarilly
assume linearity.
