Hi all,
Just finished my SR vertical stabilizer. The manual
doesn't mention installing the fiberglass tip fairing
now? Why? I have mated the rudder to the fin to check
for fit...so it seems like a good time to install it!
Any other SR builders have any thoughts?
-Jason

SR vertical fin fairing...why not now?
SR vertical fin fairing...why not now?
If you have the rudder installed, then I can't see any reason not to install
the tip now.. You'll want to have the rudder installed so that you can match
the top of the fairing with the top of the rudder..

SR vertical fin fairing...why not now?
Sure, mount it now if you want. Good idea to mate the rudder to the fin for
fitting the tip fairing. By the way, the manual never tells you to install
the fairings. There are no instructions for this. You're on your own. A
dremel tool with a cutting wheel works very nice. Take your time fitting,
cutting, refitting, etc. and it will turn out fine.
