Hi Walter:

Saw it in Kitplane. Looks really good. Did you off-set the fin 3/4" or leave
it straight? Talked to MAM and they seemed a little wishy washy like maybe
3/4" is to much. What is your cruise if you dare tell us all?

That picture and completion report is over a year old now. I just got a copy
myself, but was a little disappointed in what I saw. They didn't even print
it in colour!

Anyway, I recently got it flying on the 1800 amphibs, and my cruise now is
105 mph at 2350 and flaperons in reflex. This is indicated, not verified by
GPS. On wheels, I think my cruise was 115 at the same power setting.

Yes, my fin is 3/4" offset, and seems to be just right. You still need to
apply right rudder on take-off and full power climb. In cruise, I can fly
hands off.
