Hi Murray !
If these are the bottom cross tubes - DEFINITELY use UNcut
tubes. The little extra weight is nothing compared to the extra
strength you gain !

You can use the cut sections of tube to run across the bottom
of the instrument panel. This adds needed support and a place to mount
the throttle, mixture, trim, primer, etc. and leave room for 2 rows of
full-sized instruments. Run the strip along the bottom of the panel,
with notches at the bends, so it goes all the way out to both sides.

Hi from Calgary
The manual illustrates cutting the fus 5's lengthwise. I did this and then
Questioned MAM. They said that this was fine as long as your not installing
spring gear.I noticed in the archives that there are no cut fus 5's.This is
a 1650 gross rebel which will so
meday have floats. Is this alright or should I install uncut fus 5's?
Please comment before I go to far.
Thanks
Murray
