heat muffs

Hi Bruce,
You bet the spring helps! Or a chain. The chain on mine was a small dia. wire, small loop, sort of like a dog chain. Little dog. The MAM system has two heat muffs in series, and the will roast you out in 10deg F.
I never use over a 1/4" of pull in cruise.
