W-157 / Builder Meeting
Posted: Fri Feb 17, 2012 9:16 pm
Hello everyone!
Does anyone that plans to attend the September Builders meeting in Brampton
have a left over W-157 (I think that's the number) fuel tank rear bulkhead,
for the Rebel, that they don't need. I know of a few of you that only put a
2 bay tank on one side and a 3 on the other, so you should have one left
over. If anyone does please let me know and I will take it off your hands
(pay of course) as I am building a kit that was ordered with only one wing
tank and plan to put a 2 bay tank in each wing, for a total of 30 Gallons
US, for a 912 or 912 S. That's a good 7 or 8 hours of range and adds the
safety of a tank in each wing, ie: a right wing tank only can be deadly, if
doing all right hand circuits like we do at our field!
I have all the solid wing ribs I need, can fabricate the tank skins and
probably the bulkhead, but it would be easier to install a factory piece.
Please let me know if you have one to unload!
Thanks,
Wayne G. O'Shea
