Prop balancer

Where did you get the prop balancer? Do you balance it on the engine, or on
the shop bench?

Prop balancer

It's called a Propmaster. Here is the site:

You balance the prop first, then the spinner and prop, and all your hardware. This is not on the airplane, so if your flywheel or crank is out, then you still need the expensive prop shop dynamic balancing. It works fine for small wooden or composite props, but not for the big metal ones. You can talk to the guy on email, and he can tell you what you need. Anyway, it worked fine for me.
