The Murphy Builders Site

I was disappointed last year that the Murphy builder's dinner was on
Saturday night. I could not make it. Earlier this year I think I saw it
posted for Saturday night again. Once more I was disappointed because I had
a conflict.

My conflict is that I am the Co-Chairman for Activities (fun stuff) at the
seaplane base and Saturday night features a big event. It will be the night
of the 12th Annual Seabase Watermelon Social. This year it will feature a
Half Chicken Barbecue, Trimmings, Soda & Beer.

OK, so what's my point. If there is interest Murphy builders could meet at
the Seabase. The facilities are there for a get together. Big tent, picnic
tables etc. Food & beverage can be catered. Transportation is not a problem.
Busses for a dollar each way run back and forth from the field to the base
every half hour or so.

If there is interest, we could pick an afternoon or evening and get
together.
The following are Evening Events we could work ourselves around or into.

Tuesday: Happy Hour around the fire.
Wednesday: Welcome Campers Night
Thursday: Live True Blue Wisconsin Polka Music.
Friday: Fish Dinner, followed by Kareoke Night featuring Alicia
Rae.
Saturday: Watermelon Social Chicken Barbecue
Sunday: Ice Cream Sunday Night

Hi Don,
I know I'd be up for that! I remember having to pick the Murphy dinner over that event. If we need to do any more to get involved with this, other than just coming to the corn roast, I'll try to help.
If all goes well, I hope to be in OSH early. I'll try to find you at the seaplane base a little early.
Perhaps we should make this comment to MAM also.
