I noticed on a note to Wayne a couple of weeks ago that you are building a
set of skis for Snow field and Glacier landings. If you have not already read
it, the book, WAGER WITH THE WIND The Don Sheldon Story is a excellent book
on Glacier flying. Don Sheldon was a world known Glacier pilot based out of
Talkeetna Alaska. He flew sciencetests and mountain climbers on to MT
Mckinley in the 1950's throught the 1970's. His highest landing was at 14,300
feet in a Super Cub.

Glacier Landings
Another one that I really enjoyed is called "Glacier Pilot"... it is the
story of Bob Reeve, of Reeve Airlines. Those Alaskan bush pilots from the
early days had to have bigger balls than brains!
