RE: fuel probe location for SR2500
I installed the fuel probes in the root rib, top corner next to main spar.
The mounting plate is about 2 1/2 in. square, meaning that the probe itself
has to bend up to almost the top of the tank and then down toward the rear
and
towards the next rib. In tests it seems to work very well in both what I
believe is both the 3 point attitude and in straght and level. Will
probably
need some small corection table for the two different attitudes. Don't
forget
to drill a small vent hole in the top most part of the bendable portion of
the
probe. I intend to run wiring into the fusalage at the root of wing and
then
behind trim to the gage.
