Using 6061-T6 tubing

I have been plumbing for fuel using the 3/8 tube furnished by Murphy and 1/4 tube for the hydraulic lines for the float wheels. Now that I'm done, is 6061 the correct alloy? I see that 5052-0 is advertised as tubing for fuel and hydraulic lines. What did you other builders use and why?

Al, 6061T6 is plenty strong enough for fuel
lines. I used it for all my fuel lines in the
cabin except the fuel return line. I used 3003-0
for the fuel return (very soft, ductile with 800
lb working pressure).

Al,
Are you sure you received 6061-T6? Our master parts list has Rawstock 4 (3/8 x .035) listed as 5052-0 tubing. Incidentally, we used 1/2" line in 5052-0.

All is well, I must have 6061 tattooed to my brain, my lines are 5052-0. It seems that when I leave the shop its time to second guess what has been completed.
Thanks,
Al
