Are there bulkhead type fittings for these plastic lines so that you can
have a nice termination point when wheel gear is removed for floats?
Peter.

Plastic brake lines

Peter, I'll have a look in a catalogue I have around here somewhere (if I
can find it!). If you can't get a bulkhead fitting it would be very easy to
make one by using a 90 * elbow on the inside with a washer or two slipped
over the NPT thread end (to hold it up far enough for the tube nut to be
turned) and then the pipe thread going through the floor, then a union nut
tightened up against it to hold it in place. Then 45* elbow (or straight
nipple) on the outside to attach the gear line to. Easy to make a plug for
the line when you are on straight floats, by using a nut and about an inch
of tube melted shut on the end (or you can probably buy a proper cap).
