Anyone have an 80x 45 or larger prop (wood or metal) you want to sell, trade (have a couple of 75x 56 and 60 metal), or rent?

Peter,

Are you planning on putting an 80" prop on the Rebel?

Peter,

Are you planning on putting an 80" prop on the Rebel?
If possible, eventually, yes. Right now I am working with a Mazda rotary
installed and flying in another airframe with a view to putting it or a
similar one in a Rebel. I am linked up with a fellow who has the airframe
mostly done. My contribution will be to finish it and install the engine.
Peter.

Peter,

There is an outfit in Washington that re-engines super Cubs with with 0360
and 0320's. The're putting on Sensenich 80" certified props with great
results. The owners really love them. I checked my Rebel and would need 8.50
tires in place of the 8.00 to gain the extra 3 or 4 inches of the required 9"
clearance with ground. What have you found in this regard?

My main interest is for float use so aside from spray considerations I think
the length would not be a problem.

Hello All

Yes, I finally put laid down my hard earned cash for an 0-320 A2B 160hp.

I am now looking for a prop. If anyone has any info on a Sesenich 74" x 56
pitch, please let me know. I may consider an Ivo prop also.

Thanks

With the 160 hp why not go with a 74 x 58, an enjoy the 128 mph cruse. It
will still out climes most of the other aircraft at the airport. I use a
wooden Sensenich W74EM-58. I also know Roland uses a Sensenich 74 x 58
Metal prop on his Rebel and gets the same results. By the way my pretty wood
prop cost $735.00 us new. R109 Edwin...

Does anyone know of a used Sensenich 74-56 prop for sale?
I would like to check the difference between it and the Prince prop.

Dale:

What are you using in place of the Sensenich. I have a 74"x58 pitch right
now with a 160 hp.
I'm going to pitch it to 60 maybe even 62. I would like a little faster
cruise at the expense of take off and climb performance.Takes off like a
jack rabbit with a kick in the ass anyway.

29 hrs. and really starting to get the feel of it. Doing touch and goes, I
have taken off from a three point position. Gotta keep the nose down to get
a little speed before climb. This takes about 2 seconds. Bob says ,"it just
keeps getting better".

Good luck selling your prop.
