Warnke prop

Someone asked me about my Warnke prop a few days ago. Its length is 70" and
the pitch is 46-56". Margie Warnke says that this prop changes pitch with
speed, hence the "almost constant speed" nickname.

I bought it because I like its appearance - about 60 laminations. It seems
smooth and performs about as well as my Ivo Magnum.

Regarding Warp Drive prop: I read in Contact magazine that two different
people flying 4-cylinder VW's experienced bad vibration and one had his
crankshaft break. They did not bad-mouth the Warp prop but they wondered if
the 3-blade composite Warp prop was causing a resonance with their VW
engines.

Bill,
That was me that ask you about your Wranke prop. If the length of the Wranke
is only 70" it must be a 3 bladed prop?

Bruce;
My prop is 2-bladed. However, my engine is an o-290.
