Just noticed an ad for THREE low time Lycoming O-540's and
one NEW one, for sale ! Perfect for the Super Rebel.

No indication of prices, but definitely worth checking.
They're at Found Aircraft, in Parry Sound, Ontario .......

Just to add to that they are 260 H.P. engines, as Found is uprgrading the
"new" Found Bushhawk to 300 H.P. I guess it didn't jump out of the water on
260!

According to Garth Wallace in fly yellow side up the found wouldn't jump
out of the water with any amount of power.

Right !! That's a VERY funny book !!! I'd recommend it to
anyone who ever fancied the romantic life as a bush pilot ! ;-)

Apparently they've fixed a LOT of things on the 'new' Found -
more wing, Fowler flaps, AND the bigger engine . I hear it's a fairly
acceptable performer now.... But at a price of $300,000 !!
I think a Super Rebel 3500 would blow its doors off, for about 1/3
of the cost !!!! (of course, I'm a <bit> prejudiced !! ;-) :-) )

Maybe we'll have an opportunity to see, after the Toronto
Aviation Show (if we can find a Found on wheels) !! :-) :-)

REALLY looking forward to flying the new S-R !!
