I would put the holes on top just under the seat that way you will be able to reach

Has anybody put access holes in the bottom skin (fuse 40) to get to the
5/16"nuts and washers on the LG 26 to Fuse 5s attachment?
I have the bungee gear and the Fuse 5s are not split. Any thoughts,
pros, cons, appreciated.
