Hello Larry,
I've taken the solenoid/valve apart and cleaned them as well as repolishing
hem with very light Emory cloth. Didn't work for me <sigh>. I had to buy
new valve (about $100 from a local high-pressure valve place). I can get
he part # for you if you aren't successful in taking apart the valve. Now
hat I think of it, a friend made a special tool for me so I could take
part the valve--I could mail that tool to you if you can't get it apart
hrough creative other means on your own.
Ultimately, a few years later, the new valve (from dirt in the system?)
tarted to act up. I ended up putting a hand-operated simple ball valve in
y system. I much prefer this simple approach that works great and costs
ess than $20 if I recall correctly.

appy New Year Everyone:
I have Jim Kimballs airstart system, and I am attemping to start
he M 14 P for the first time, everything checked out normal at first but
ow the starting and the unloading valve won't seal. I am thinking they got
ust and debris in them from making the new hoses. Is it possible to take
hem apart and clean them or blow them out backwards?
