[rebel-builders] REAL SR2500/Moose flight data

Hi Rick !
Don't know about max, but CRUISE that I got was:
With the 260 hp. IO-540 ...
2500 and/or 3500 at 2,400 rpm, 24 inches, at 8,500 ft.,
----------------------- 132 - 135 Kt .... about 150+ mph ...
about 13 - 13.5 gph fuel
3500 M-14P I'll let someone more current answer -
------- --------- My fuzzy memory is 2,300 rpm ... about 120 Kt.
and about 18.5 gph .... never got less than
about 18 gph.......
There shouldn't be any big difference in cruise because of the
airframe - 2500 and 3500 are almost same aerodynamically ...
3500 has 10 mph higher VNE, and 500 lb. more gross weight..
These are just my memories of my experiences ... YMMV ;-)

Hi all,
I'm looking for some real flight data. Like all of us I have read the
brochure... So what's reality.
Max speed with a 2500 airframe and IO-540?
Max speed with a Moose airframe and a IO-540?
Max speed with a Moose airframe and a M-14?
Thanks!
