fuel line routing & amphib gear pump

Bruce, and anyone building Amphibs ...
I just remembered that <some> builders have mounted the gear
pump forward, under the panel, with the handle extending back out
under the throttle & gear valve. This does get it out of the
baggage area, but it can be harder to mount, work on, and it
moves the CofG forward, usually undesireable ...
While this is not a great choice for everyday use, <IF> you
add an electric pump, and the manual is for emergency use only, it
might be OK. Of course, adding the electric pump only adds weight
and complexity - again, not usually desireable ;-)
Just another possibility to consider .....

---------*Thanks Wray, I'll look up Jacks float pump pictures now. I remember seeing
those photos before but had forgotten about them.
