[rebel-builders] Float compartment covers

Glad someone state side spoke up to help Kirk out..... I have a couple dozen
here as well but the postage to go South is more than buying them direct
from a supplier. If you do enough searching you can find them online for
about $6each.

I've got a bunch. They are a standard marine hatch. I can ship one out
Monday UPS. Just send an email with your mailing address directly to me:

I was wondering if anyone has extra plastic inspection plates for our 1800
amphibs
on our rebel. They are the round, black threaded ones and are about 6"
diameter.
One of them on our floats broke and I am looking for a replacement. My
name
is Kirk
Hiner and I fly out of Minnesota. Thanks.

[rebel-builders] Float compartment covers

I know we live in two separate countries, but our open border is anything
but. Not trying to open up a huge discussion, but at a very basic level it
is crazy how expensive and often difficult it is to send things across our
friendly border.

Nuff said.

Thanks for all the responses already. Looks like Eric may be able to help me out.
In response to Keith I live in Kenyon, MN down by Owatonna and keep our Rebel
Amphib at the Dodge Center Airport (KTOB). Just flew the Rebel up to Cass Lake
last weekend. I'd like to see your project someday.

Kirk,
You are more than welcome to stop in anytime. Not much done on my project though. Actually most of it is stored and wrapped up. Other 'irons in the fire" and haven't been able to work on it for quite sometime. I do have a partially completed wing in my kitchen though. :)
I am just 1 mile north of Hwy. 71 outside the Park. I was just up by Cass LAke last week also. Have a couple of different friends that have private strips in that area.
Think I am going flying today since it is so nice out.
Keith

I can see where you would a little miffed. Well for what it's worth our mail
is going to go up too, they say they are losing money. They want to stop
delivering on Saturdays and are closing some post offices. Glad to hear you
got the parts.
