[rebel-builders] cambered leading edge
Posted: Sun Feb 19, 2012 11:34 pm
New guy here. I must admit recipes for bear might be of great interest to
you woodsy types, but the last bear in Virginia Beach was captured by the
local police earlier this year and taken back to the wilderness (Chesapeake)
for release.
However, as I am getting a "used kit " next week little items like cambered
leading edges get my attention. First, would someone describe what that is
and why it is important? Thanks
I must confess that I am a glass guy as I am finishing a Glasair but want to
learn Metal. If the questions sound like I don't know anything about
riveted aircraft, your right.

Gee Whiz,
I sent Angus an email asking about price and availability on his cambered
leading edge.
Now, about 8 emails later, I still don't have a price, or availablity, or
performance specifications--and it looks like instead of me getting the info
I am looking for, we are getting ready to exchange recipes for cooking bear.
I thought this website was about building airplanes?

from walrus.Glad you are going to eat the bear, not vice-versa.
However you decide to cook it, cook it thoroughly.
In my ancient past I saw two cases of trichinosis, one from bear, and one
fireburned deadfall so had to decide weather to shoot an arrow at the upsetSee:

The bear came after me on a rock ridge, my fault, stumbled upon
2-100lb cubs + mom and instantly reversed but I couldn't run over the
advancing bruin (at 25yds) or be laying on my back being mauled wishing I'd
shot the arrow. Bear is in the cooler Had a good bull (42"ish) at 15yds this

The Rebel ended up being loaded and beyond so no room for a boat too.
Have a picture of the plane load of gear so will post it when I get
home. Living in a tent on Otter Lk., St.Ignace Island for another
week......Angus
