clear fuel line

hello .could i trouble a few to let me know what they have used for clear
fuel sight tubes.whatever i have used so far has hardened over just a couple
months and started to seep at the fittings.has anyone used that bing fuel
line from aircraft spruce?it says its blue in color,doesn't say if it is
translucent.any words of wisdon greatly appreciated as always.
