You can get close to that steep if you use 72 - 75 mph and full
flap for approach on the Rebel .... I do ! :-)
(max flap (3 notches=18 degrees) speed is 80 ...)

flaps. Those guys are landing on the nosewheel too, which ain't so good.
Obviously good stick and rudder pilots though, but the nose gear is the
weak link on the twotter. It steers with a tiller, and if It isn't
centered...or you try to use it going faster than taxi speed..
that's the cause of most twotter wrecks. The main gear is very tough
though...I have proved that to my own satisfaction. Darn good airplane
though. I just wish it was a tail dragger, then it would be perfect.
